MERC Consultants Ltd. is a consultancy specialising in all aspects of the conservation, heritage, ecology and utilisation of the marine environment. The company comprises a team of professional and highly experienced marine ecologists with complementary backgrounds in the ecology of marine and coastal ecosystems. The company also provides advice in relation to the legislative requirements relevant to land and sea developments and work practices. The company also has considerable expertise in preparing and providing advice on Appropriate Assessment in accordance with Article 6(3) of the EU Habitats Directive.
We aim to provide services of the highest professional standard, which is achieved by the employment of a core team of biologists with many years of cumulative research and survey experience.
